Jellyfish Swarms in Spain
Millions of mauve stinger jellyfish (pelagia noticus) were sited of the Balearic Islands,Spain the worst hit place was Cabrera de Mar you could not swim in the water, the sting of these animals is potentially dangerous and in worst cases can cause cardiac arrest.Fishers Have to take care when boating.

Jellyfish Invade Rhode Island

Portuguese man-of-war are invading Rhode Island beaches. Apparently, Several people have been stung in the past few days at beaches in the area. This time, it was an 18-year-old girl who was stung at Misquamicut State Beach. The girl was taken to Westerly Hospital. Man-of-wars deliver a painful sting that can cause temporary paralysis and require medical attention. Beachgoers who want to go into the water are being told to go no deeper than their waists. I say just stay on the sand.
Jellyfish Attack Swimmers in Chile!

At least 35 swimmers were stung by a school of jellyfish in a resort in northern Chile on Tuesday. All the victims had to be treated at a local hospital. According to reports, rogue currents had washed the swarm of jellyfish towards the shore.The Puerto Saavedra city council has closed the town’s beaches until the jellyfish are cleared.
Jellyfish Sting 160 Swimmers!

Over 160 beachgoers were stung by jellyfish in Australia yesterday! Two beaches had to be shut down after the wind blew a swarm of blue bottle jellyfish towards the shore and people starting getting stung by the dozens. Three of the victims even had to be taken to the hospital
